Forgotten Allies: World Premiere - 12.06.19
What a night. Forgotten Allies: the search for Burma’s lost heroes, received its world premiere on Wednesday night in London, to a packed out crowd of 330 people at the National Army Museum (the picture shows just one of the screening rooms!)
We couldn't have asked for a better reception. Audience feedback included:
"A brilliant evening of enthusiasm and Burma. The film was terrific. "
"...a moving and eloquent tribute to the Burma veterans, who sacrificed so much for Britain in the darkest days of WWII."
"It was doubly moving---the actual veterans and their stories---as well as the people who have dedicated so much to helping them. It was a movie the needed making and kudos to you for doing so."
"A brilliant film... which must have touched the hearts of all those people there this evening."
We couldn't have done it without the hundreds of people who contributed to our crowd-funding campaign last year, many with deep personal connections to the campaign. We hope that all of you who paid to purchase a link to the film have received your instructions by email. If not, please do get in touch.
